I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where did you buy them?
I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.
I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
What’s the going rate?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their design features.
Are they true to size?
I’d golden goose shoes womens say they fit just right, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They required minimal break-in time.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
